A full audit and redesign of a municipal website to meet strict WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards.

The Solution

DAMIEUS began with a full accessibility audit of the existing site. The findings shaped a redesign built around semantic structure, keyboard navigation, readable contrast and clear content. Components were built to work with screen readers from the start rather than patched afterwards. The finished site was checked against WCAG 2.1 so that every resident can use it.
